    @cassidoo I switched and I have no regrets. Doing automation stuff with email — to the extent that I’ve done it — has been super easy with their API. My graduation was painless, and you could even sign in with Google to send it receive emails from your old email address.

      @cassidoo I pay $50 a year, and I also get to have unlimited virtual addresses so I can have completely different emails to sign up for different websites rather than using the + sign hack.

        @cassidoo I haven’t really used their web apps at all, I just use the native Mail apps on my Mac and iPhone. I never really used Google Drive that much, and when I need it I just use my Gmail account. For contacts and calendar, their migration option works well.

          @cassidoo I considered ProtonMail, but didn’t go with them because their encrypted email thing doesn’t work well with standard email clients so you have to use theirs. I don’t want lock-in. And I’m perhaps naïve enough to trust someone because I’m paying them.
