    1. I’ve been using aamoji by @nateparrott for a while now. It lets you type “aa” plus the name of an emoji and have it autocomplete to that emoji (aacoffee → ☕), and you can enable iCloud sync in System Preferences to use it on iOS too!

    However, the app hasn’t been updated in a few years so some of the more recently added emoji are not included. I made a new version of the app that updates the list of emoji and switches to a new install method that works on newer macOS versions. github.com/j-f1/aamoji-resurrected/releases/latest
