@nikitonsky @gruber Wikipedia: “In common speech, "oval" means a shape rather like an egg or an ellipse…It also often refers to a figure that resembles two semicircles joined by a rectangle” That’s how I interpret it: the ellipse is the mathematical shape, and the oval is the shape of a racetrack.
