@rallstadt @JoshWComeau I don’t find them that pronounceable either most of the time (I’m a native speaker). Usually I’ll pronounce them like “ell ten en” for l10n but you can also pronounce them as the actual word, kinda like how “2” is pronounced “two.”Permalink On twitter.com

@rallstadt @JoshWComeau But when I’m saying it in my head I’ll sometimes pronounce it literally (i.e. k8s → “kates”) because I enjoy mispronouncing things. Like pronouncing SQL as “squirrel.” 🐿🐿🐿On twitter.com
